Investments of $ 8 Million at Hotel Manoir Victoria

Now 100% Contemporary!

After the complete renovation of its lobby and meeting rooms as well as the opening of the restaurant Chez Boulay-bistro boréal in the Sspring/Summer of 2012, the Hotel Manoir Victoria has continued its major investment program with the completion of the renovation, in February 2013, of its suites and all other public areas including the total overhaul of La Table du Manoir. This convivial area ,opened-up on the lobby, is bonified with an eye-catching bar, an ambiance fireplace, solid elm tabletops and comnfortable chairs so hotel's guests can now have a sunny breakfast in a trendy decor while it is offered to groups afterwards for functions of all kinds. These renovations were completed at the cost of $3 million.

Chez Boulay-bistro boréal, inaugurated in May 2012, offers a trendy atmosphere and an inventive nordic-inspired cuisine that features regional products and that is adapted to the different seasons. The restaurant, and all the hotel's food and beverage operations, are orchestratedguided by  renowned chefs Jean Luc Boulay and Arnaud Marchand.

The hotel's three suites have also benefited, in January 2013, of an investment of $300,000 in order to offer its leisure and business clientele an upscale decor and distinctive services in addition of those already offered in the other rooms: Room section with one ''King'' bed, lounge area with sofa bed and ambiance fireplace, trendy bathroom with radiantheated floor, large glass-enclosed rain shower and towel warmer, two 40-inches flat screen HD televisions, Nespresso coffee maker and two wireless direct dial phones. These suites, designed by the renown ed firm  of architects Lemay Michaud, give the hotel a very distinctive offer that is unique in the Greater Québec City area.

The design of these three suites has inspired the renovation, at an additional cost of $2 millions, of half of the hotel’s guestrooms in January 2014. Moreover, the inspiration of these suites has been used for the renovation, in January 2014, of half of the hotel's bedrooms, at an additionnal cost of $2 million. These rooms offers upscale contemporary furniture and decor as well as a relooked bathroom with glass-enclosed shower and refined products.

The last phase of room renovation  involving an additional investment of $3 millions is took taking place in Fall 2015 and as of March 2016, the hotel is now 100% contemporary with a planned completion Mid-February 2016. The traditional decor still found in standard and superior rooms of the hotel will gradually give place to a new contemporary decor at an additional cost of $3 million. Lemay, Michaud has been chosen again for this phase to ensure harmony throughout the hotel. Our guests will appreciate the optimization of vital space as well as the ultimate comfort of a radiant floor in many  the new bathrooms.  Those who appreciate a bath/shower in their bedroom will find that option in our standard and superior rooms.

This continued investment show the tremendous confidence that our Quebecois owners, the Varin Family, from Québec, has in Québec City, especially in Old Quebec, the vibrant location of their 4 stars hotel.
