THE CONVOY

Design, comfort, flexibility: No detail has been spared in the creation of lively, stunning spaces. The Train's interior appointments embrace elements in the passing landscape, leaving the scenery centre stage to play upon the intimate ambience in the railcars.

Design and ambiance
To heighten passenger pleasure and create a distinctive atmosphere, convoy railcars have undergone a complete makeover.

Refurbished and redesigned by the teams at Morelli Inc., each railcar has been completely restored and transformed by the professionals at C.R.O.I., in the Saguenay. No detail has been spared to the manner in which comfort and aesthetics intermesh on board.

A train with a contemporary signature
A minimalist design, timeless decor, the predominance of whites, a purity of lines and the use of materials that reflect organic mediums create a truly contemporary signature.

Generous fenestration ushers passengers into immediate symbiosis with the scenery. From the moment they board, they enter into a decor that is anything but that of a conventional train. Interior spaces are simply stunning.

A lively decor
As the trip unfurls, nature offers itself in spectacle and outdoor elements modulate the passenger experience within.

Impacted by the ever changing scenery, by the evolution of day into night and the passing seasons, the convoy's eight railcars gently transform themselves, assuming specific configurations, audiotechnical features and even textures, as requested by corporate and group clienteles.

GASTRONOMY

Discovering the Charlevoix is a pure delight, a delicious feast for the most discerning of eyes and palates. The terroir at its best, from field to fork!

At the ovens

The Train of Le Massif de Charlevoix's gastronomy bears a signature, that of the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu's acclaimed executive chef. A genuine regional icon, this establishment has long distinguished itself for its outstanding cuisine that is both refined yet ingenuous.

Twice rather than once travellers appreciate and delect in the rich cuisine of Chef Breton, whose roots trace back to one of the most renowned families of restaurateurs in Lyon, France. Under his mastery, lunch on the way there and a gastronomic dinner on the return journey offer moments of pure bliss.

With his brigade, Chef Breton's diversified menus are elaborated and composed according to the season's crops and freshest arrivals, and always spotlight the savoir-faire of the region's passionate, inventive growers and producers.

A rail adventure in gasxtronomy, in two acts
The taste experience receives a glorious send-off over a lovely three-course lunch. With the spotlight roundly resting on local products, menus show a predilection for variety and culinary discovery.

On the return trip, local terroir ingredients are showcased in a four-course dinner carefully elaborated by Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu Executive Chef, Jean-Michel Breton and his brigade. On the menu : Fresh and distinctive products brimming with exquisite flavours and aromas that are quite simply mouth-watering, making the selection of a dish from among those proposed a very difficult task indeed.
